My final food donation of my £1,000 fundraiser done, a nice Christmas treat for families in crisis at the Trussel Trust Food Bank in the Christian centre. They asked me for biscuits, cakes, chocolates, mince pies, cheese straws, nibbles and snacks as a little touch of normality for those who have nothing all year and live day to day on whatever they can. Christmas in particular is a time for giving, to lift those who need your hand and take one step out of your way to benefit others. I'm proud to teach my children to be kind and considerate members of society doing good to help others less fortunate. We don't have a lot as a single parent family but wealth isn't measure in pounds sterling is it? Only true love can make you rich in life and for that I am incredibly blessed by my daughter and son.
