On December 1st, the #Oracle Women’s Leadership (#OWL) HQ Group hosted a workshop where they created succulents for the office.
Jodi Shaw, owner and founder of Flourish in Marin County, transformed the Oracle Conference Center into a succulent studio for the night. Jodi began by outlining crucial tips for successful succulent care. From there, tables began nesting their succulents with equal parts concentration and creativity.
In between piling pearls, beds of moss, small flower buds, and miniature acorns, groups filled the room with lively conversation. Next, Megumi Inouye, a San Francisco-based gift wrapping artist, lent her expertise on Japanese gifting culture and inspired participants to think outside the box. By incorporating a peek-a-boo giftwrap design, Megumi encouraged the room to consider how presentation can convey heartfelt intentions and ignite curiosity.
After the planting, decorating and wrapping attendees were in agreement, The Succulents for the Office Workshop was "an excellent opportunity to make new friends, and learn to be inspired by both speakers and peers.” #lifeatOracle #OracleWomen
