I would like to start a dialogue about this subject and need all of your help to share this post and even ask your own veterinarian this question. How do you personally feel about this fact?
Here are posts, from a veterinary practice's facebook page, that routinely declaws cats, offers coupons, and promotes declawing specials on the outside marquee of their practice.. AND they offer and promote FREE nail trimming for DOGS.
Why does there seem to be a disconnect in many veterinarians who declaw cats, who perceive declawing as routine in cats, but consider it animal cruelty in dogs?? I spoke to many practices that routinely declaw kitties and asked them if they would declaw a dog if it was scratching up doors and ruining carpet. They told me that they absolutely would NOT because it is cruel and inhumane to declaw a dog.
And remember, I do NOT condone cyber bullying or threatening anyone!
