This is n’cip n’ciap chicken. It’s pronounced “chip chop.” It is browned #chicken with onions, garlic, fennel and chilies. To make it, brown the chicken. Brown the onions and garlic a bit. Soften the onions and garlic and fennel and chilies. Add 2 cups of white #wine. Put the chicken back in and add a 1/4 cup of rosemary. Simmer that uncovered for 30 minutes. Add a little chicken stock and the zest of a lemon. Cover it for a couple of minutes. Uncover it and add the juice of a lemon. Serve it with lots of crusty bread or in this case we made saffron rice pilaf! #recipes #italian #dinner
