Davide Martello played the #piano this afternoon at Place de la République in Paris, where crowds had gathered earlier for a #momentofsilence for the victims of the attacks. This was not Davide’s first performance of this kind: @ニューヨーク・タイムズ wrote about him in June 2013, when he placed himself and his grand piano at the center of Taksim Square in Istanbul. “I wish all the street performers around Paris would stand together to perform for peace,” he wrote on his Facebook page yesterday.
