I took this picture in Paris last month because like everyone else it's hard not to take touristy pictures in the most beautiful city in the world. And I'm posting it now because like everyone else I'm confused and disgusted and depressed by last night's hideous attacks in the most beautiful city in the world. I wasn't going to post something because my first instinct has always been that hashtags and reposts and social media in general is an inappropriate and superficial way to acknowledge what will forever be an unspeakably horrific day in the lives of the families who lost someone last night. But then I thought, fuck it, I'm pissed off, and I don't know how else to join everyone else who's pissed off too. So here's my picture of Paris and my own small moment when I'm hoping and even praying that things like this happen less and we all love a little more. I ❤️ ??
