The National Museum of Australia is a social history museum that explores the land, nation and people of Australia. Today The Prince of Wales toured the Encounters exhibition, which reveals the powerful stories of rare Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander objects.
His Royal Highness saw a variety of pieces, including this painting called Martumili Ngurra. The painting was created by six Martu women from central Western Australia and tells the stories of their country.
