Offshore winds and a West swell along the California coast can create a canvas like no other. Those rare days when the wind is perfect & everything seems to come together is what first made me pick up a camera and shoot surfing. I'm not usually one to speculate but if this El Niño pattern continues it could make for an incredible ( and maybe a bit destructive) Winter season in the Pacific.
