"Sometimes you get blind sided as a concert photographer. Once in a while you get a truly great concert when you least expect it. I knew it would be a good show with #JillScott at the Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas, but this was well beyond that. As a concert photographer I see so many more concerts than your average music fan, and I take it in from an up close vantage point, not only am I in the pit but I'm zoomed up close....so when someone really takes it above and beyond, I see it from a visually amplified perspective. Jill Scott turned it all the way up in Vegas. Her raw unfiltered sexual energy combined with her seductive and powerful vocals had the room swinging and swaying and the virtual heat was turned way up. The fans were locked in on every lyric with her and it was an interactive experience as she is able to seamlessly take her audience with her through the emotions and sensations of each song."
