Why did you choose to join Instagram? Answer: We knew we wanted to join Instagram pretty quickly. We were already connecting with a very engaged fanbase on Twitter and Facebook, and we immediately saw an opportunity to connect with fans visually on Instagram. ________________________________________Q: How relevant is Instagram for a brand like yours? A: Instagram is a key platform for House of Marley. We’re a lifestyle brand, and with Instagram we can effectively communicate that through the visual content we post that resonates with our community. ________________________________________Q: What strategies do you use to attract new Instagram followers and keep them engaged? A: Going back to UGC, it’s important for us to celebrate the followers that are creating user-generated content. We re-post our favorites, and see heightened engagement around posts like these. We also work with different creative partners on content to engage new audiences. Cross-promotions and giveaways with our brand partners like Marley Coffee, also work well. Creating incentives that excite and engage our fans is always fun.
