it's not often that one gets the incredible pleasure and great honor of saying that they are making television history with one of their greatest heroes, but tonight I get to do that. last year, I was blessed with the tremendous opportunity to work with the legendary ms. Patty Duke. for those of you who don't know: exactly 50 years before #livandmaddie started filming, she was one actress playing two girls on her own television show. the original. I learned so much from her, and #livandmaddie would not exist without all the hard work and the precedent that she set in 1963. tonight, she has been generous enough to come onto our little show to play twins again, this time as my twins grandmother//great aunts. I am humbled beyond words to have met this woman. Thank you, Anna, for supporting me and loving me and teaching me. I connect with you and relate to you and look up to you on a completely different level. Two of a kind. Big night tonight! Let's do this, babe. Xx
