I don't have enough words to express how grateful I am to @westofscotlandskatingacademy for such an amazing week. This experience was truly life changing for me. One of the top 5 in my life. I was invited to do this camp only a few weeks ago and I nearly turned it down. I rarely coach when I'm home let alone head an entire seminar. I have an incredibly strong view and philosophy on how figure skating should be done, but I only put it to use with myself. This offer was so far out of my comfort zone that I was terrified to take it on. I am so happy and thankful that I did. Not only was I able to express my views on this sport and my personal philosophies, I could see massive progress in each and every single one of these kids in only a couple of days. The last session that I was working with the younger group, I was nearly brought to tears to see how much progress they had made! More than the work they put in and the progress they all made, we all had a blast. I had so much fun working with this amazing group!
