I have a lot of people ask what it's like to own a husky. I'll explain MY PERSONAL experience with mine and if anyone has huskies, you can say yours below. For the people who are thinking of getting a husky, here are some CONS you will run into. Huskies shed hair, not a little bit of hair..... ALOT and all the time. If you like vacuuming.... then it's okay. If you don't like hair everywhere, forget it. They don't listen when they know what they want. You can train them all you want but when they want something, you can't stop them. (You can only make mine listen IF you treats and that's about it) ?. They are pack dogs, which means you shouldn't get ONE husky. You need to have two dogs ORRRR be there with them the majority of the day and take them for lots of walks and give them lots of love. If you work early hours and leave them by themselves for 9-10 hours a day, they will become very bored and destroy EVERYTHING. The positives are they are the most amazing dogs ever, they will look after you, love you and talk to you (howling). They are funny, active and really REALLY CUTE! No matter how old they get, they always look amazing and once you have one, you will never want another dog. You NEED to train them when they are young. My two know they are NOT allowed on the couch or in the bedrooms. They sleep on their beds at night. However, they know they can get away with everything at my parents house, so for anyone who follows my sister Leah, all THAT destruction is at HER house ? Ace is an old soul, he is very wise and calm. TJ is cheeky, mischievous and loves affection. You will never get two of the same dog! ??? I love my boys and I wouldn't give them up for the world!!
