Currently at an annual Korean festival with my mom and son. Three generations celebrating the culture of our ancestors. I love hearing the #gayageum being played live and the smell of spices in the air. We make the trek for this each year and it makes me miss my family in South Korea (my mom has five brothers and I have more cousins than I can count, all of whom I'm close to). This little drink in the photo is what I used to have everyday the summer of 1988 during my first visit over there. It's a traditional children's yogurt probiotic drink and the milkman used to deliver it to the doorstep with the carton of milk. I love sweet surprises that bring nostalgic smiles and I can remember what my 8 year old laughter sounded like once more. Happy Saturday, everyone.
