I read this miraculous true story about a refugee family from Vietnam about a month ago, and I intended to post, but just never did. And then the news of that sweet little boy, Aylan, who drowned while his family was trying to get to safety, made us all wake up and realize this is not just something that happened in our past. This is happening right now. The brilliant man, #VinhChung, who wrote #wherethewindleads could have so easily been that little boy if not for the help of a man ( #StanMooneyham with @worldvision ) that said, "not on my watch," families in Arkansas that said, "we can help" and countless others who by the grace of God stepped up and stepped in at just the right time. What bravery, strength of character, and faith it took for this family to survive, and what true heroes these people were who helped! There are thousands of others who need so desperately for someone to step up and be a hero for them.
