The running of the #piglets at the Great New York State Fair in #Syracuse, New York. Organizers claim that @nysfair is the oldest #statefair in the United States, dating back to 1841, or earlier. The pigs, which @Hezzikia photographed on Thursday, are trotted out onto a sawdust track and loaded into starting gates five times a day. The self-described “swine master,” Zach Johnson, names them after current political figures, adding his own puns. “You have Hillary Rod-Ham Clinton, and Ba-Rack o’ Ribs Obama, and Trump Roast,” he told @ニューヨーク・タイムズ. The pigs’ prize: @OREO cookies. #?
