Designed by Daniel Libeskind, who created the master plan for the World Trade Center Memorial in New York City, the Reflections at Keppel Bay in Singapore are actually six glass towers. Because each floor overlaps, the towers’ centers of gravity can cometimes shift. To counteract this, each tower was fitted with a strong lift-core wall to serve as a solid spine. Engineers created unique structural plans for each floor, requiring much greater effort than a conventional condominium project.
