Attention my friends! You have a chance to play a HUGE part in cat history. There is a contest going on to elect America’s Favorite Veterinarian and there is only ONE veterinarian in the top 10 who does NOT declaw kitties. His name is Dr Gary Richter from @Montclairvet. He is doing the right thing and honoring the oath he took to just heal and protect animals. He is a true advocate for kitties and is doing what is in THEIR best interest.
If he is elected into this honorable position, he truly will be a positive example as to how ALL veterinarians in America should conduct their practice of veterinary medicine and only perform healing procedures.

Also, I have been hearing that some people are making negative attacks on the other 9 veterinarians in this contest. PLEASE don’t do this. Yes, I know you are sick and tired of the excuses they give for not completely stopping it, and sick about how many kitties are having to go through this inhumane, horrific, and unnecessary procedure. Believe me, I am too.
Remember that real and positive change will only happen by educating and inspiring others to do the right thing.
So please, as I ALWAYS asked, take my higher ground philosophy of respect and positive focus. We don't want anyone turning this campaign around by those threats and claiming they are the victims. We all know that the only victims in this cause are the kitties who are unnecessarily going through such a horrific and inhumane procedure.
