On assignment for @ナショナルジオグラフィック with @intotheokavango A pied kingfisher waits intently above the water of the Okavango Delta, looking for small fish to feed on. Kingfishers are a staple in the Delta and there are roughly 90 species worldwide. Every piece of the Okavango ecosystem is intricately tied together...water being the rope. The water that floods the delta every year flows from the Angolan highlands where we started our journey 3 months ago. The team of @intotheokavango has finally made it to the flood plain after seemingly endless effort.
