The White Pocket is a remote area of sandstone hidden within the desert in Vermillion Cliffs National Monument near the Arizona/Utah border. There are amazing rock colors and formations all over this site, and it is rarely crowded due to the difficulty of getting there. We had an experienced driver who knew the area and a high clearance 4x4 to get us through the deep sandy roads. There are no real trails here - just wander around and enjoy the twisted, swirling formations. Photo by @awc007
