Double take! Last week's SENIOR SUNDAY feature, the adorable duo Laverne and Shirley, got adopted! Our friends at @susiesseniordogs kindly ask you to consider adopting an older dog.

Laverne and Shirley are 9 years old. They were pulled from an overcrowded shelter and brought to South Suburban Humane Society​ to look for their home. Through their shelter experience together, Laverne and Shirley became quite bonded to each other and depend heavily on each other for comfort. Adopting them together was the only option.

Thankfully, they found their angel family! Their new family drove down from Green Bay, WI to Chicago, IL to bring them both home and provide them all the creature comforts any pup could ask for. A double YAY!
