@renan_ozturk was the youngest member of the team. An artist, a talented climber, an even more talented cinematographer and storied dirtbag (that’s a compliment in our world,) Renan started his climbing career without even a car to live out of. He found his calling in climbing and floated from climbing area to climbing area with the changing seasons. Quite and shy, Renan suffers from an incurable disease we jokingly call FOMAS or fear of missing a shot. He lives through the lens, always finds the unlikely angle, is notorious for destroying camera equipment and is on an endless search to capture the ultimate timelapse. Here he is painting one of his epic landscape murals at our basecamp below Meru. #merufilm
