A federal cleanup crew accidentally caused a big, and potentially hazardous, mess in #Colorado last week. An estimated 1 million gallons of wastewater spilled out of an abandoned mine area in southern Colorado on Wednesday, turning the #AnimasRiver orange and prompting the Environmental Protection Agency to tell locals to avoid it. The city of Durango and La Plata County have now declared a state of emergency.
