Chanel is my nine year old german shepherd/lab mix. People have always told me that old dogs can't play, well Chanel can prove them wrong! She always has a smile, play and give unconditional love. The first thing she does when we go outside, she takes her ball and runs around like crazy. The thing I love about seniors is they always understand you. Chanel (she has hip dysphasia) can heard cry at night and, even if it's hard for her to get up, she will do it to come near me. And that melts my heart. She's truly amazing and I love to spoil her in every way possible. Seniors are amazing dogs, I think all senior dog owners understand what I mean. They are peaceful, their hugs are warm, and simply beautiful! Chanel is my best friend and the best thing that ever happened to me. ♥️" writes @amuttyjourney.
