“I spent a few days tailing #Dispatch around New York City as they held rallies, organized volunteers and raised money and awareness for #DispatchHunger. They're the most down-to-earth, unassuming guys who quietly do a lot of good. They treat everyone the same — with love and respect — from the highest elected officials to their passionate volunteers to the everyday people they meet on the streets. Musically, the band flies below a lot of people's radar, but they have a sizable core of devoted fans. Enough to fill Madison Square Garden two nights in a row. As someone who grew up in New Jersey, shooting in the Garden had a special allure for me, and everyone there — band, crowd, the other photographers — seemed on a high from being in the hallowed arena. . . at least I think that's why they seemed high.” As told to @Rolling Stone by photographer @stagelightphotography
