#tbt to one of my all time favorite tv appearances. @DaveAttell's Insomniac Tour 2006 with Sean Rouse & Greg Giraldo.
I remember filming this in Vegas and the crowd was, to this day, one of the rowdiest most out of control groups of people I've ever encountered. Backstage I was waiting to go on and I remember thinking it sounded like professional wrestling out there. The audience was going bonkers. Everyone was destroying. I watched all those guys at their absolute best and when it aired on tv (or where ever you can watch it now) you can see we are having the time of our lives because the crowd was just eating it up.
2006 was one of the wildest years in my career and this just put it over the top.
I also think this set is the one if you watch you can see how many young comedians were influenced by it. A good friend of mine said after this set "you raised your own bar man. You're gonna be a target now." Greatest moment. Here I was the invisible kid in school and now I was the most visible comedian in the world... with a target. Fun times. I could not have been more grateful to my buddy Attell for asking me when he could have gotten anyone he wanted. I also had the pleasure of sharing that night with Greg who as always was fantastic.
