Two month old cheetah cubs take watch while their mother has a few moments of well deserved shut eye. This mother is taking care of a litter of 5 cubs. She left them in deep cover while she went out to hunt. They were so well camouflaged and well behaved while she was gone, we couldn't see them even though we knew where they were because she was spotted leaving them there earlier in the morning. We waited several hours for her to return and were rewarded with a burst of energy from the cubs as they came out of hiding to greet their mother. Taken while on safari at #Phinda Game Reserve.
