A remote finger of land in southern Ireland stretching into the Atlantic Ocean, the Beara Peninsula is one of Ireland's lesser known treasures. This rocky stretch of land is chock full of colorful villages, castles, ancient archaeological sites, incredible views (like this one), and, well, lots of sheep. I had the great pleasure of hiking part of the long-distance trail known as the Beara Way, and I was blown away by the beauty and awesome views. From the people to the scenery (and of course, the Guinness), Ireland always delivers an amazing experience. Photo by @magnumji
