This week, the photographer @christaanfelber is hosting @newyorkerphoto’s feed, sharing photos from the road in the American South and Southwest. Driving through Rose Hill, Mississippi, he took a portrait of Eddie Cooley, sitting outside of a gas station. Eddie co-wrote Peggy Lee’s 1956 hit “Fever,” which was subsequently covered by Elvis Presley, Madonna, and others. #regram
