Max Filippini moved cattle in mid-June into a grazing area in Battle Mountain, #Nevada. The area was once off-limits because of drought restrictions, but the Filippini family agreed to pay a fine of $106 to let their #cattle graze on the land. For months, their cattle had been penned behind the family home as a result of the relentless #drought, eating expensive hay on a plate of dry dirt.
