Side note: in the photo there is a book called "Celebrating You" and I thought it was fitting. Sometimes it's the little things like wearing the pretty dress without needing a special occasion for it or making time to just dream or create or doing whatever it is that nurtures your own heart with the message of, "you are worthy of love and care and delight from your own heart too... just because!" Sometimes it's easy to extend all your reserves to the loved ones in your life but it's just as crucial and important to extend that nurturing care and effort to yourself as well. It makes all the other stuff on the outside, including giving to others, that much sweeter. In my experience, I have found this much easier said than done because it requires honest choices, saying no without accepting guilt (projected or from within), healthy boundaries, and letting go of the pressing matter at hand for the important one. Loving yourself takes guts. It's humble. And it's brave. But in it, harmony, growth, balance, beauty and more whole relational connections. So here's to investing in and loving your own self true and well. ✨
