I interrupt my regularly scheduled cat photo post with this very important message of happy. Thank you to the Supreme Court for doing the right thing and making gay marriage legal in this country. Here’s to my amazing moms who are coming up on their one-year wedding anniversary. Their vows represent respect, fulfillment, dignity, caring, commitment, devotion, and family. The love they have together and for each other transcends so much more and truly brings a brighter light into this world. I am one of the lucky recipients of this and now my new sister @MissLuluLaRoo will be too. As our President said, real change is possible …shifts in hearts and minds is possible. Especially when it comes to an idea whose time has finally come.
This shows that little by little, eventually, after years and years of hard work, education, and opening up good people’s minds, real change for the better can happen.
