This summer, photographer Sam Faulkner is showcasing more than 80 life-size portraits of Battle of Waterloo re-enactors in a new book and in an exhibition at Somerset House, an arts center in London. “I think the way we remember people from conflict has changed because of photography," says Mr. Faulkner, who spent 5 years visiting Waterloo re-enactments.
