After two years trailblazing such runways as Miu Miu and Marc Jacobs, Hunter Schafer surprised herself by landing a starring role on HBO’s #Euphoria. “We started filming in L.A. the same month I was supposed to start school,” she admits to V.F. “I don’t think I ever told them that I wasn’t coming.” But her ability to bring her own experience to the role proved invaluable—especially when the character’s intentions came into question on Twitter.
