SENIOR SUNDAY: our friends at @susiesseniordogs would like you to consider adopting an older dog for your next companion!

We humans all have different personalities. And dogs are no different! Dallas, an 8 year old Pug/Chihuahua mix, has an "I need to get to know you before I let you in" kind of personality. Upon first meeting, Dallas is a bit suspicious of new strangers. But once he learns you are here for kindness he quickly lets you in and wants all of your love. Dallas has had a hard time finding his home because it's difficult for most people to see past the first impression Dallas gives off.

Dallas previously lived with a human who was admitted into a psychiatric ward and can no longer care for him. Since being at the shelter, Dallas has displayed signs of being house trained, as well as knowing a few tricks...sort of. When you command "sit," Dallas stands on his two hind legs. But it's OK, Dallas is so adorable that he can get away with anything! Dallas is located at the Logan County Humane Society in Sterling, Colorado -- about 2 hours east of Denver.
