One of the coolest parts of @mountainfilm, besides being knocked over and awe-inspired by the incredible movies about incredible adventures, is when one of your buddies has a movie in the festival. My friend @jimmy_chin made a film called #MERU @merufilm, about climbing and friendship and adversity and pushing yourself past your mental and physical abilities in the most amazing ways. He's the coolest human, and this is one of the best films I've ever seen. It'll be out in the U.S. this August, and internationally after that. You MUST see it! AND, the dude on the left is James Balog, who made the amazing film #ChasingIce. We both flipped when we met him. He's a legend.
