++ there are moments during the process where it feels like heaven is silent, there's not a melody to be found, you're completely lost for words with everything to say, you miss your family, miss the simple pleasures of life, feeling exhausted and questioning whether God is even in it, or whether we can do this, and then you remember that we can't do it.. but you remember that by staying in it, waiting for it, by continuing to dig and push and search and trust and bow and break and give and need grace more than ever there will be a moment somewhere in the future when it will be done! - and so you close your eyes and picture the moment somehow, someway by God's grace that you will hold this unfinished thing that is finished in your hand, and you'll put it in your car with your mate who 3years ago was a heroin addict on the streets he now serves, and you listen to it as you drive home from church to your family and you stop at an intersection on Broadway with the windows down and you blast the last chorus of the last song (that doesn't even exist yet outside of the mind of God) while people cross the lined crosswalk oblivious but nonetheless embodied in everything this moment and this record is about, and you look at your buddy with tears in his eyes, and you'll know that God is in it, because we'll know we couldn't get it done on our own.. And in that moment it will all be worth it.....!!!! ------- And then that moment happens - And you have nothing but to be grateful.... And right now, this moment makes it all worth it... And I am beyond grateful... Because this moment doesn't happen without His grace in every moment.
