The cute Ms. @alicemarble asked us to share 10 facts about us, so here goes:
1) My name is Nila - pronounced Nee-la.
2) It means blue in Sanskrit, which incidentally is the colour code for my beautiful fur.
3) My human would have liked to adopt, but only seems to tolerate Siberians with her allergies, so she had to get me. I can't complain. ❤
4) I saw my humans for the first time when I was just three weeks old, and I went to live with them when I was 12 weeks old. They probably got on my breeder's nerves because they came to visit me so many times before I moved in.
5) During my first year of life my humans spent $5.300 or €4.700 on veterinary care to find out why I was ill, and thus ignored recommendations to have me put down because it would be too costly to have me examined thoroughly. As if any amount of money could somehow substitute me.
6) When I was 1 year and 239 days my humans brought home this little whiny creature they said was my new brother.
7) His name is Milo - pronounced Mee-lo.
8) Milo means merciful as well as destroyer. Both are accurate descriptions of his cute but rascally nature.
9) I was very gracious and accepting of him as a kitten, but now that he's in his teens, he's getting on my nerves. Can't wait until he grows up. ?
10) I'm the brave one and Milo is the scaredy-cat, but I'll teach him to be brave. After all I do sort of love him. ? There you have it.
