So the day was epic as is: #Dangleo requested I sit in for his @spotify gig this morning. With #PINOpallidino on bass how could I say "no"?there I saw my pals @abbijacobson & @ilanusglazer of #BroadCity. Then came back to #FallonTonight for a mighty education w our sit in guest (former #TonightShow bandleader #KevinEubanks. Then wind up the night playing #CarnegieHall w my bestie @janinagavankar (see what I did there @elainekwon?) ----the night didn't stop there. Had a victory lap dinner w friends and who do I see next to us? No other than @レニー・クラヴィッツ having dinner w/ the gawd #DavidRitz (his last book on #areatha is a must read!!!!) besides #DreamHampton #NelsonGeorge & #Christgau no music writer inspired me to write more than Ritz (Ray, Smokey, Etta, BB, Aretha, The Nevilles, Buddy, Flash, Rick---and of course Marvin) thanks to Len falleting me be mice & creep to his table (see what I did there? #MondegreenThursdays!) and geek out and askt David all I could about his life covering soul music. #BeautifulNight!!
