Until recently, Esmee Engelmann had never considered herself a runner. That changed two years ago. The Amsterdam-native bought her first pair of running shoes and immediately got to work. "In every run, even during training. I wanted to be the best," she says.

That spirit led her from running four-five times a month to running four-five times a week. She even joined a Nike+ Run Club. And today, with the help of her crew, she takes on Amsterdam.
