Recently, we saw a campaign to fight the dog and cat meat trade in Taiwan and China. As a Taiwanese, I feel so sad to see this misinformation!!! While doing additional research, I realized people may have confused Yulin (China) and Yunlin (Taiwan)! One letter different!!!! https://goo.gl/VMbOlj Yulin is a city in China. However, Taiwan has a county called Yunlin. Since 2001, Taiwan has laws which banned the dog meat trade. Regardless, Taiwanese see their puppies as their family. I hope people can spread this information to their friends. Stop spreading the FALSE rumor that Taiwanese trade dog meat or cat meat! we love our pets sincerely.
Just to be clear, it happens in China in Yulin. Please don't give Taiwan a false label. We support the campaign to fight against it, but we hope people will get the facts straight. There are many other countries that are involved as well, so please research from reputable sources.

最近我看到一個活動在響應停止狗肉貓肉在台灣和中國的販售，身為一個台灣人看到這樣錯誤的訊息覺得很難過! 所以我做了一點調查，我發現可能大家搞混中國的榆林Yulin跟台灣的雲林Yunlin，其實就是一個英文字的差別，https://goo.gl/VMbOlj 榆林Yulin是在中國，然而台灣是有一個地方叫做雲林。
