Me and mom (taken September 11, 2001) ?Momma, you have been there for me every step of the way. I would not be the person I am today or have the opportunities I have if it weren't for the love and support and guidance you've given me throughout my life (and the fact that you taught me to sing as soon as I could talk so that we could sing along on every car ride we've ever taken). You went through so many doctors' offices and treatments and shots to get to have children and I cannot express how grateful I am that you never gave up, on having me and on my life afterward. There have been so many rough patches in our way, so many curveballs thrown at us, but together we've been able to handle each and every one. Making me confident that you're one of the strongest people I've ever known. And I hope I can measure up to that strength in my life as well.
