Today is the anniversary of #VEDay (Victory in Europe Day), marking 70 years since the end of the Second World War in Europe. In June 1945, #Harrods celebrated VE Day by constructing a giant two-tonne white V on its iconic façade, displaying the words ‘God Save the King’ underneath. This stunning picture was found in our #HarrodsArchives department. #HarrodsHistory
