One week after the devastating quake hit Nepal we have implemented 300 water filter systems (enough to provide 30k people with clean water). Our partners in the Nepalese Military and the Himalayan Alpine Guides (@himalayalpine), as well as a dozen smaller networks, have all been instrumental in helping facilitate the distributions throughout four different districts in the country. Things are going well and the framework for our program is taking good shape. There is so much more work to be done, but we have a solid foundation in place and a steady flow of filters to distribute. Thanks to all the support that has come in.
