TSATravelTips - Not only can you be arrested, you can receive a fine of up to $11,000.00 if you attempt to bring a firearm on a commercial aircraft. A total of 49 firearms were discovered this week in in carry-on bags. 44 of those were loaded. The pictured firearm was discovered Monday at the Tri-Cities Regional Airport (TRI) in Tennessee. A #ConcealedCarry permit does not apply to commercial aircraft. While firearms are prohibited in carry-on bags, you can travel with firearms in your checked baggage as long as you meet the packing guidelines.
