#tbt 2013-2014 when I enrolled my red head self into the drum program at #MusiciansInstitute. It was very intense, I learned a lot, but mostly I was humbled to get up every day, screw up and keep up with the boys in my classes. (I was the only girl that semester.) I loved the challenge of playing the 7 am tests, after practicing all night in a little dingy lock out. I've been playing for 5 years now, and I'm truly grateful I took some time off to apply myself in an instrument I love so much.
