Hey lovely people of the interweb, @richburnsred_art here. Hope everyone is having a smashing day so far.
This amazing sculpture is by the very talented, and very influential Italian artist Mario Ceroli. This piece has been constructed by putting together hundreds if not thousands, of thinly sliced sheets of glass that have been very precisely sculpted. It is entitled "Maestrale", and it really is a sight to behold, we can only imagine how tremendous this would look in person.
Unfortunately Ceroli does not have instagram as far as we could see. So we would highly recommend googling him to see more of his phenomenal work. It's well worth the time!!
