Big announcement today: World, meet Karys Logue, whom as of today will be our Executive Pastry Chef managing of team of 40+ for #DominiqueAnselKitchen and #DominiqueAnselBakery. Karys started her first job out of culinary school with me at Restaurant Daniel more than 7 years ago. She has since been the executive pastry chef at Sepia in Australia, sous chef at Cafe Boulud, and executive pastry chef at Tessa. She is just 26 years old but there are very few people I know with her determination, creativity, and energy in the kitchen. I've always believed that with those things combined, nobody can stop you. I can't wait for you to see what she's capable of. (Of course, I will still be in both places daily, but nobody does it alone and my team makes all the difference.)
