Today when I was accidentally injured by a stranger at the old LA Zoo a city of Los Angeles parks & recreation security officer offered me zero assistance. When I came to him with my problem he first yelled at me and then attempted to ignore me and continued to direct traffic. When I tried to explain that a wagon speeding down a hill hit me in the center of my spine as I was sitting in the grass he shrugged me off and told me that he doesn't care, he has had 4 spinal operations in his life. He was so set on controlling and yelling at the public that when presented with the opportunity to help someone this man chose to be aggressive and insulting. I don't understand this because this is a man who was hired to protect and serve the park. I'm am truly disappointed and really sad to not only have this happen to me but that it would have happened to anyone asking for the same assistance. While the person driving the wagon did not intend on hitting me and was extremely apologetic, the officer I approached consciously decided not to do the right thing. #cityofLA #LAsecurity #officer #help #lazoo #oldlazoo
