I was excite to see that @NASA launched three American astronauts today to join the International Space Station @国際宇宙ステーション Being a child of the 60’s & 70's I remember well the Apollo 11 mission when #NeilArmstrong was the first man to walk on the moon.
Nasa was one of the early organizations to first adapt to the use of #Velcro.
I photographed the Helmet with gold visor to help illustrated the use of the “wonder product”. I was also; sorry “over the moon” to be able to work at the Smithsonian and see some of the Apollo artifacts in person.

This helmet was worn by #HarrisonSchmitt, #LunarModule Pilot, #Apollo17, December 7-19, 1972
